This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Oregon Brewers Festival and we’ve crafted a special commemorative beer just for the occasion, aptly named ‘25’. This Imperial Oregon Ale has 25 ingredients; many sourced in Oregon, and contains 25 International Bittering Units. It is medium to light bodied, with a soft bitterness, and a slightly fruit forward flavor. We used two kinds of locally sourced honey; plus, cranberries, hazelnuts, citrus orange peels, and a host of spices & herbs. Layer these elements on the Oregon grown malt & hops and the result is a very unique, yet light, refreshing local ale that we’ll proudly serve during 2012 OBF on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon July 26th-29th.
Not attending the OBF? We’ve got you covered – the 25 is pouring in our Tasting Room here in Eugene. It’s available on draft, 1/2 barrels, 1/6 barrels, Corn fills & growler fills. This deep golden ale is perfect on a hot summer afternoon; especially with its herbal & citrus aroma at the beginning and the lingering lemony bitterness at the end (not to mention we dry hopped it with citra and crystal hops). Join us this weekend to enjoy some live music & local cuisine to satisfy your taste buds- we’re here to help make your weekend as awesome as possible. You’re welcome. Cheers!
